Cadillac, the luxury arm of General Motors, has announced a striking new livery for its Formula 1 car that will debut at the United States Grand Prix in Austin. Per Sky Sports, the design incorporates a bold cowboy motif, complete with a stylised hat and a desert‑inspired colour palette that echoes the iconic imagery of the American West. The move comes as the team looks to strengthen its brand presence in the U.S. market ahead of the 2024 season.

In the live‑blog coverage, Sky Sports highlighted that the livery’s central motif is a stylised cowboy hat rendered in a metallic silver that contrasts sharply with the deep‑red body of the car. The design also features subtle accents of turquoise and gold, paying tribute to the heritage of the Old West while maintaining Cadillac’s signature luxury aesthetic. The team’s chief designer, who spoke on the sidelines of the practice session, said the concept was born from a collaboration between the brand’s marketing team and the F1 technical crew, aiming to create a visual narrative that would resonate with both American and global audiences.

Cadillac’s decision to adopt a cowboy theme aligns with the growing trend of F1 teams leveraging local culture to boost fan engagement. The United States Grand Prix, which has seen a surge in viewership and attendance since its return to the calendar in 2018, offers a prime platform for the brand to showcase its heritage. The livery will be visible in all race‑week activities, from the practice sessions to the podium, and will be featured in promotional material across FanCode and other broadcast partners.

For Indian fans, the new livery will be broadcast live on FanCode with commentary in Hindi and English, starting at 7:30 p.m. IST on Friday, the day of the first practice session. The team’s social media channels will also share behind‑the‑scenes footage of the car’s unveiling, giving viewers an exclusive look at the design process. Fans can follow the race coverage on FanCode, which offers a dedicated F1 channel with real‑time updates, replays, and expert analysis throughout the weekend.
