McLaren delays 'McMacarena' wing evaluation until British GP

McLaren has decided to pause its plans to evaluate a new low-drag rear wing package, nicknamed the 'McMacarena' wing, until after the upcoming Formula 1 British Grand Prix. The team had been considering running the new wing in Austria but has opted to wait for the Silverstone circuit instead.

For India, F1 fans can catch the British GP live on FanCode, with IST timings to be announced closer to the event.

The decision to delay the evaluation of the 'McMacarena' wing suggests that McLaren is being cautious in its approach, possibly due to the unique demands of the Silverstone circuit or the need for further data analysis.
